Job Description:
Clinical Director Neuroscience (San Francisco - East Bay Area) RN position that is accountable for the delivery of high quality nursing care and for the administrative management of the nursing unit on a 24hr basis. Fulfills all duties and responsibilities associated with the unit manager position. Will report to the VP, Patient Care Services. Over see 20 bed unit combined with ICU. Responsible for the management of 60 staff people. Must have proven management experience and strong clinical experience perferred. Knowledge of care needs of the adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Prolonged, extensive, or considerable standing/walking. Contact with patients under a wide variety of circumstances. Exposed to unpleasant elements (accidents, injuries and illness). Be able to handle emergency or crisis situations. OSHA I (high risk). Occasionally subject to irregurlarhours, multiple calls and inquires. Subject to varying and unpredictable situations. Salary negotiable DOE, Relocation assitanct nogotiable. Full Benefits & vacaton. Full time, M-F 8hr Shifts.
Job Requirements:
Education/License: BSN required/MA preferred. Current California RN License, BLS-C & ACLS provider. Certification in Critical Care Nursing, and/or neuroscience's preferred. If not certified will seek cert5ification within the first year of employment.
