Job Description:
Here is a brief list of some the activities you will be trained to perform as part of your internship:
•Teach children about the coastal environment.
•Grow native plants.
•Plant trees throughout Los Angeles.
•Collect and sort recyclables from local parks and schools.
•Assist with facility maintenance.
•Care for rescued marine wildlife.
Job Requirements:
*Applicants must be between the ages of 18-24 years of age.
*High school diploma or GED preferred but not necessary.
*Willing and able to commit to a one year time period.
*Enjoy working in the outdoors in all kinds of weather.
*Excellent work habits –maturity, punctuality, attendance, positive attitude, dependability, high standards for quantity and quality of work produced.
*Interest in Education, Environmental Studies, Marine Biology, Botany, Horticulture or Conservation a plus.
WE PROVIDE ALL THE TRAINING AND SUPERVISION NECESSARY. NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED.
