Short Description: · Production/Operations Engineer is responsible for implementing capital programs, tracking performance of assigned area, and pursuing opportunity evaluations associated with managing · Leads and/or conducts complex engineering studies using advanced engineering concepts. · Assists with field supervision, mentors interns and young engineers · Possesses advanced knowledge in professional/technical discipline. · Rocky Mountain experience a plusRequirements: Handles complex production-operations and/or engineering assignments independently and is typically reviewed only for results. Able to formulate and promote sound recommendations which support Division business objectives. Functions as a project leader on medium to large projects. Provides technical guidance on complex engineering projects. Prepare well cost estimates for well construction, remedial and other work. Create precise and accurate well designs for new wells and for remedial workovers and recompletions. Provide technical assistance to drilling operations staff to ensure that each well is completed in a safe, efficient, and cost effective manner. Operate and maintain onshore oil and gas leases and wells to produce the highest profitable volumes of oil and gas that are within the limits prescribed by State and Federal statutes.
