Job Description:
Responsibilities: This person will supervise a Team responsible for RF system design, performance, optimization, capacity planning, and new feature and technology implementation. Responsibilities also include establishing standards, training materials, and market level process development for attaining goals. Administrative duties include employee performance evaluation, coaching, and development. This position will also provide engineering assessments required for budgetary purposes. Monitoring Network Performance / Providing Direction Manage Team resources and tasks Coach Team Members Oversee Core Competency Improvement Efforts Provide Engineering Support to Sales / Customers Manage / report on Discretion during assessment of area goals and objectives. Will be required to properly assess magnitude of issues, resource requirements, etc. Consideration of Team diversity during coaching, work assignments, etc. Determination of proper information to provide Sales / Customers about problem areas, potential improvements, etc. Experience and Requirements: Leadership Planning / Resource Management RF Planning Tools and the Site Design Process Strong GSM BSS / Optimization Knowledge Effective Troubleshooting Ability to interface with cross-functional team members to gain the support required to accomplish team goals/tasks. BS/BA Degree 5+ Years Experience in the Wireless Industry (RF Engineering or Field Operations) In lieu of BS/BA degree, 8+ years experience in Wireless Industry Project Management Reporting & Presentation (Training also) Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills Driving record is within company compliance Exhibits ability to work in a high-speed, intense environment while providing consistent results. Exhibits flexibility and willingness to change direction / objectives upon short notice.
