They seek a Director of Business Development from the energy space to help develop and manage an energy division. This would include power generation, transmission lines, wind and other alternative energy areas. This is a new position for the ambitious professional. They seek a key person within energy to help develop and manage a fast growing unit as a member of the Division and Corporate Management team. The right professional is needed to get this well functioning professional group in front of new opportunities. The team delivers. It has grown from 0 t0 15 in three years and plans to double in the next two. Our client is looking for an experienced and hungry engineer or professional with initiative, tenacity and innovation to help establish and manage key client relationships in pipeline, transmission lines, power generation, and wind energy.This position would be very attractive to one of the following: May work for an Industry Group today that outsources environmental engineering work to others but find that they really like this type of work and interaction. Could be with a pipeline, transmission, or wind develop group but is looking for a true career growth path with a more flexible and dynamic firm. Or maybe they are a senior project manager at a large consulting firm office that isn't getting the advancement they're entitled to, waiting patiently for that elusive promotion and leadership opportunity. The successful candidate will provide client management for environmental permitting of energy projects through out the United States. This is a sales and business development position.
