Description: We are recruiting for experienced Contracts Managers with experience working in Construction Management for some large scale, fast track projects. This position will assist the Project Manager and requires knowledge of B-1 construction plans and specifications, including basic structural and civil engineering, architectural, mechanical and electrical concepts, as well as an average level of pricing, scheduling and construction methods. Receive and review Time and Material rates from subcontractors. Correspondence with Subcontractors. Monitor back charges and log. Monitor third party work authorization. Approve payments to suppliers and subcontractors. Coordinate the pricing of changes. Negotiate changes with subcontractors & Owner Reps. Prepare progress payment with Project Controller, itemized breakdown & obtain approval. Monitor schedule and participate in schedule meetings. Identify, initiate and administer accounts for T&M work. Prepare Insurance claims with Safety Engineer. Attend weekly coordination meetings. Education: High School or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is desired, a combination of Education and work experience will also be considered in lieu of degree. Experience: This position requires a minimum of four years of field experience.
