Job Description:
This position is responsible for leadership of the Production Manufacturing Engineering process group within Operations Engineering(`4technical, administrative, etc. This manager provides manufacturing engineering process direction and leadership to all manufacturing engineers supporting production programs; and works closely with production program management, process areas and product work centers providing timely and qualified support to customer needs and requirements. This position is accountable for process improvement/development utilizing Achieving Competitive Excellence tools and skills training, including participation in the development of standard work for the manufacturing engineering discipline. This manager also develops and manages team overhead budget; development, communication and execution of Roadmap Support Plan strategies and metrics; ensures appropriate resource allocation of skills base across programs; and provides employee coaching and mentoring for career development, retention, and advancement of team members. REQUIREMENTS A Bachelor(`9s degree in a technical, engineering or manufacturing field is required as a minimum.
