Job Description:
You will beresponsible for the development, design, coordination and management of all projects from their original concept to their final completion. You are responsible for the accurate and timely completion, project tracking reports and the development, preparation and submission to the Capital Facility Plan and updating the Facility Condition Assessment and Space Surveys. You will be responsible for ensuring all applicable life safety measures are incorporated into the design documents in accordance with the requirements. Ensures that Infection Control Risk Assessments are conducted and maintained. Ensures all projects receive the appropriate safety reviews as determined by the scope of the project. He/she develops review standards and sets up a system of implementation to ensure all safety compliance. Serves as Resident Engineer on projects as designated to ensure full compliance with contract requirements and makes recommendations for modification, if necessary. You will provide the technical knowledge required to develop accurate plans, specifications and estimates for all types of projects. Provides direction and guidance to other staff members. The incumbent reads and interprets drawings and blueprints and develops plans and specifications using commercial estimating guides, manufacturer\'s literature, equipment catalogs and previous drawings. Utilizes computerized software packages including AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, hospital database systems and electronic mail message systems. The incumbent reviews and updates the space inventory as changes occur.
