Job Description:
Position: Provides technical services on construction and maintenance projects covering major problems affecting design and functional use and operation of the projects. Serves as primary point of contact for matters related to planning for and executing the military design program. Responsible for the review of design memoranda, design analyses, plans, and specifications prepared by Architect-Engineers for conformance with technical requirements of design criteria. Negotiates in development of overall consolidated budgets, schedules, review processes, scopes of work, procurement strategies, quality expectations of customers and project priorities. Supervisory management responsibilities for the branch include recommending appropriate staffing to maintain a sound position structure; participation in selection of qualified employees, assigning, reviewing and evaluating work; identifying training needs, administering leave, development and maintenance of effective discipline.
