The ideal candidate will be organized and detail-oriented, with an ability to manage multiple projects independently. He/she will have proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment. The successful candidate must also have well-developed interpersonal skills and be able to communicate well and deal persuasively with individuals at all levels, both within and outside the organization. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field and five to seven years related experience. SUMMARY: Establish and maintain a comprehensive asset management program for Water, Wastewater, Stormwater, and Light and Power. Manage the replacement of valuable infrastructure assets. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following duties and responsibilities are illustrative of the primary functions of this position and are not intended to be all inclusive. Establishes risk-based and fact-based methodologies to managing infrastructure assets. Develops a comprehensive inventory of assets, condition assessment of those assets, improving coordination and communication within the utility's operations, and improving the decision making process for asset management based on quantifiable risks
