Job Description:
This position requires a seasoned expert's ability and knowledge of the methods, techniques, criteria, and precedents pertaining to the design, construction and operation of hydropower projects, dams and appurtenant structures and other related functions of the Division of Dam Safety and Inspections' Regional Office. Demonstrated skills, knowledge and ability in geotechnical, structural, hydraulic, seismic or other civil engineering disciplines related to dam safety, design, inspection, remediation, construction, and operation of hydropower projects. 2. Demonstrated skills, knowledge, experience and ability in leading teams in support of organizational goals. 3. Demonstrated skills, knowledge and ability in analyzing dam safety engineering and compliance matters related to the design, construction, inspection, remediation, operation and environmental impacts of hydroelectric projects. 4. Demonstrated skills, knowledge and ability in preparing clear, concise, and well organized engineering reports. Screening Questions:1.
