Responsible for the supervision of the internal audit of (1) the Company’s 404 internal controls over financial reporting and (2) selected areas of the Company’s significant accounting policies and risk portfolio. The Director of Internal Audit will report jointly to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors and the General Counsel and manage a full time staff of four. The successful candidate will need to possess strong management and communication skills and be self-motivated in order to demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively with the Finance Department, the external auditors and the Audit Committee in order to improve the Company’s accounting and financial reporting practices. A and recent management experience in an internal audit function (internal or consulting) or managing the 404 portion of an external auditor’s audit is required.
