Responsibilities: Reporting to the Controller of Mutual Funds, the key areas of focus for this individual are as follows: Contributing to a high quality standard for the financial reporting and operations of the fund through careful attention to the details of the funds activities. Assist in the oversight of activities of service providers, including: Fund Accounting Fund Administration and Legal Independent Counsel to the Directors/Trustees Compliance Transfer Agent Distributor Authorized Sales Intermediaries Overseeing financial control framework to ensure adherence to Sarbanes Oxley requirements. Review of the payment of significant expenses of the fund. Assist in the preparation/coordination of material to be presented to the Board of Directors Administratively responsible for establishing meeting dates and ensuring that Board receives necessary material Assisting with negotiating, monitoring and administration of fund contracts with sales intermediaries (Mutual Fund platforms). Assisting with negotiating new contracts with service providers and reviewing alternative service providers with the goal of improving quality and reducing costs through efficiency. Assist with oversight of fund compliance responsibilities.
