Job Description:
Responsibilities: Develops and owns high level, complex product line strategies and major market programs and initiatives. Creates and drives strategy and content of multiple product launches. Leads definition and development of company's products services in conjunction with Engineering. Integrates customer and market requirements with company products and services to create solutions and communicates to external partners and customers. Understands competitor's positioning and strategies and develops company competitive strategy and positioning. Understands and assists in overall managing of business market. Resolves escalated product, service and customer issues. Resolves cross-organization process issues. Establishes tracks and manages budget. Proactively manages revenue, profit and growth. Resolves customer satisfaction issues. Appropriate goals and objectives are often self-identified and then agreed to with direct manager and others. Goals and objectives must successfully integrate the LOB strategies for given markets, the BU objectives for product or service sales and profitability, and the sales objectives of different geographic regions. Requirements: A BSEE degree is required plus 10+ years of related experience in Product Management, and Product Marketing internetworking technologies and applications. An MBA or advanced degree is strongly preferred. A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and/or MBA degree is a plus. years of Product Management/Product Marketing experience. 10 years of Wireless/RF Product Management/System design experience. Knowledge of or work with WiMAX technology a plus. Experience with Regulatory & safety requirements and certification processes. Technical background including a detailed understanding of networking and company products and services. Extensive knowledge of RF, Wirless Networks, Wireless Basestation design is a must. Additional expertise with relevant networking technologies (examples include: routing, switching, remote access, TCP/IP, ATM,SNA, Frame Relay, optical networking, voice networking, e-commerce, etc).Complete understanding of and experience in applying all elements of complete life-cycle marketing, including launch, transition, or end-of-life, through both direct sales and indirect channels, using advertising, direct marketing, promotions or seminars. Works independently with only minimal management oversight.
