Job Description:
Responsibilities: Pediatrics and Digestive Health, and is responsible for creating actionable, value-adding recommendations to drive business growth. Primary role of this position is to translate primary and secondary market research into insight-based growth strategies. It will effectively integrate consumer insights and research findings into the development of brand positioning and new products to capitalize on market need gaps, create competitive advantage and manage product life cycles. Assessing macro category issues, consumer trend analysis, communications development, packaging, pricing, and strategic innovation opportunities. Reports to: The Business Strategies and Insights Director of Pain. Requirements: A Bachelor of Arts degree or a Bachelor of Science degree is required, major in business, marketing, market research, or related field preferred. An MBA degree or a Master's of Market Research, or equivalent advanced degree preferred. 5 years of direct market research experience required, with 2 years of experience in consumer packaged goods marketing research also required. Excellent critical thinking and interpretive skills required to synthesize disparate data into sound business implications and recommendations. Strong communications skills and cross-functional partnering skills required to influence decisions and champion recommended actions to Business Teams. Individual in this position will possess strong technical research skills, with ability to proactively identify appropriate methodologies while ensuring adoption of market research best practices. Advertising development and testing, new product concept and product development, packaging development and testing, sales/shopper research, new product forecasting, and marketing mix assessment. Strong influencing, interdependent partnering, verbal/written communication, and business/strategic acumen required. Additional skills and abilities that are highly preferred include Results Focused Demonstrates personal accountability to develop and execute strategies that deliver positive business outcomes for the specified Brand. Demonstrates ability to plan, prioritize, adapt to change, and provide appropriate follow-through to effectively drive business results. Ability to Influence: Effectively communicates strategies that develop and enhance brand equity. Demonstrates ability to persuade others to a new or different perspective through use of compelling data and insights in order to positively impact achievement of business results.
