Job Description:
Responsibilities: - Understand the client environment, key business drivers, and how to make them successful. - Maintains and grows appropriate, strong mid level client relationships. - Effectively cultivates client relationship that allows company to become an integral "partner" in their business (ensure clients talk to us about their business). - Anticipates client needs and proactively provides solutions. - Solicits client feedback regarding company team performance. - Actively participate in the development of annual strategic plans for clients. - Identify customer insights that drive behavior change. - Define target audience, key customer segments, and opportunities for differential treatment. - Defines business objectives of marketing programs; demonstrates understanding of economic impact of marketing programs. - Oversee the creation of program specific creative strategies, offer strategies, relationship strategies and testing strategies. - Synthesizes past program experience into high-level results, lessons learned and case studies. - Provide insight about competitor email marketing practices. - Educate clients about email channel developments/capabilities. - Makes a measurable impact on Client business. - Ensures all company deliverables are on strategy and meet company/Client quality standards (act as a steward of quality output). - Develop strong internal relationships across functional groups (lead internal team of creative, data, engineering, RMA and other account management staff in support of client deliverables). Requirements: - A BA/BS degree is required. An MBA degree is a plus. - 7+ years of direct marketing or account management experience, preferably in an agency or client focused (consulting, sales) environment, with a strong track record of successful high-growth accounts. - 3+ years of experience managing teams, providing guidance, establishing goals and providing feedback on a regular basis. - Knowledge of current technology interfaces and technical writing capabilities. - Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, computer, project management and quantitative/analytical skills. - Ability to negotiate projects and revenue. - Must be able to deal at a high level within the clients' organizations. - Becomes a knowledge resource for industry trends and facts. - Pushes the thinking of others and links program tactics to strategic objectives.
