Job Description:
Responsibilities: Responsible for focusing efforts and maintaining progress in the pursuit of, typically, one to two specific business targets, working collaboratively with line management, business development, program management, technical, contracts, procurement and pricing personnel. Support for expansion of existing accounts; development of business cases to quantify problem and solution values; pricing assistance; proposal content writing; development of marketing strategies and long-range business plans; providing technical expertise and support to qualify the opportunity and potential solutions; and presentation of company's technical capabilities and solutions during marketing events and customer meetings. Assignments will be made in the early business development opportunity qualification phase. Capture management responsibilities will continue through proposal submission, post submission orals and offer finalization, and post award debriefing and lessons learned. Report to: Director of Business Development. Requirements: A Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant professional experience that includes 5+ years senior level responsibility for business development and/or delivery management of technical services and solutions to Federal Government agencies related experience. Knowledge and experience in the Federal marketplace and expertise in advanced research and development opportunities is desired. Knowledge and expertise in Federal procurement policies and practices, techniques for marketing and selling in the Federal space, capture planning, and proposal development in response to government RFPs are critical. Excellent written and oral communications skills are essential. A demonstrated record of success in capturing Federal business opportunities that includes wins greater than $50M in total contract value. Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance (TS SCI desired).
