Job Description:
Responsibilities: Managing an entire product portfolio, including product strategy, product development initiatives, key vendor relationships, sales curriculum development, product training and financial management of their product categories. Drive greater focus on building key clinical thought leader and supplier relationships critical for success, and will lead the creation of marketing collateral, advertising, direct marketing campaigns, sales training material, clinical study design, and forecasting. Attaining revenue targets each year. Matrix management and teamwork skills needed to work with sales management, R&D, manufacturing, planning, legal, finance, regulatory, and operations. Requirements: A Bachelor's degree is required; an MBA degree is preferred. A dynamic MBA degree with proven, strategic, big six consulting experience could also land this opportunity. 4 years of experience in a medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology product management role, with proven experience in both upstream and downstream marketing is required. Experience in supporting new launch initiatives as well as developing and executing marketing programs. Must have delivered tangible results in a product development capacity by successfully launching and bringing new products to market. Worked with the sales force, outside vendors, and ad agencies to successfully promote and move product to end-user customers. Strong classical PM skills who successfully marketed products to hospital and/or private practice healthcare professionals will be considered.
