Job Description:
Candidate will join a small development team working on a cutting edge Rich Internet Application that will be launched in Q4. This will be your opportunity to work on something REALLY COOL that you can point to your friends and family over the holidays and say, "I did that."
Initial contract term is 4 months with extensions expected. Location is at the Enablus office in Alpharetta, near North Point Mall
Job Requirements:
5+ years of experience.
Experience on at least 3 projects which span the entire SDLC - candidate must have been on the project from early design through to production deployment (and beyond).
Platform doesn't matter.....can be C#, C++, J2EE, ColdFusion, or ANY platform that extensively uses Object Oriented Analysis & Design.
This role requires expert knowledge of OOAD (Object Oriented Analysis & Design). You will be tested on you conceptual and practical understanding of O-O.
Prior use of RAD tools is a huge plus. You will work with a small team to integrate a Flex application with a commercial CMS, called ZoomFlex. The use of ZoomFlex means a shift in the way development is typically done. The CMS's development environment uses an Object Designer to integrate server-side objects with the Flex UI. Candidate will have to use the Object Designer to facilitate this integration. If you are a purist that poo-poos the idea of using RAD tools, then don't apply.
However, if you don't mind working with the Object Designer, then this project will expose you to leading-edge technologies - along the way you'll learn Adobe Flex, Actionscript, and Cloud Computing deployment using Amazon S3.
