Requirements: Degree or diploma from a professional nursing program approved by the legally designated State accrediting agency at the time the program was completed by the applicant.B. Registration: Applicants must have active, current registration as a professional nurse in a State, DC, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the US. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: In addition to meeting the basic requirements above, applicant must possess one year of specialized experience which equipped the applicant with professional knowledge of uses professional knowledge of advanced principles and practices of clinical case management, discharge planning, medical services, managed care, utilization review, resource allocation, organizational structure and function, and health care benefit/ financial system administration, to develop plans to solve patient, provider, and system problems, inefficiencies, or duplication. Works under general supervision of case management coordinator, who provides program objectives and guidelines. Independently performs duties with the guidance provided and within professional standards and scope of practice. Incorporates applicable guidelines consisting of organizational vision, mission, and goals; established program policies, procedures, and objectives; clinical pathways, and national case management standards of care, performance, conduct, and ethical behavior, to guide intervention choices and professional conduct.
