Job Description: Looking for an entry level programmer that will provide daily support for the current web application. This will include, but is not limited to, troubleshooting client application issues and analyzing application bugs. The web developer will primarily support JSP, PHP, XML, HTML, JavaScript, and SQL technologies, but should expect exposure to other technologies. Candidate should be self driven and detail oriented.
Job Requirements: Major Responsibilities: * Support existing web application by testing, debugging and troubleshooting problems. * Assist on development projects from design to deployment. * Modifying existing programs to customize software to the clients’ needs. * Maintain accurate procedures and technical documentation. * Produce efficient, clean well-commented and documented code. * Candidate will need to be able to work within the team and independently
Requirements: * Strong programming fundamentals. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. * Experience in server side languages; JSP and/or PHP. * Experience in client side technologies; JavaScript, HTML, CSS. Ajax and/or ExtJs experience is a plus. * Experience in database and XML driven application. Experience in MySQL and/or PostgreSQL is a plus. * Experience with Linux command line and bash scripting. * Demonstrated knowledge of software design patterns and object-oriented programming. * Must be eligible for working in US.
