Contract: Permanent employee
1. JOB PURPOSE
1.1. Lead and mentor the software engineering team to design, develop, document and troubleshoot all software for product.
2. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
2.1. Lead Customer Support to solve problems associated server side software and with installation and operation of field hardware.
2.2. Architect, program, and debug high quality software with efficient and reusable code.
2.3. Mentor other employees in all aspects of the system.
2.4. Learn and utilize new technologies.
2.5. Provide professional and technological leadership for the projects assigned to her/him by supervising and ensuring the quality of the designs and implementations included in those projects but authored by other engineers.
2.6. Work closely with Senior Systems Engineer and Sales Team to further develop our product.
2.7. Other such duties and responsibilities as might reasonably be considered typical for a position of this type.
3. QUALIFICATIONS AND / OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
3.1. BS degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent experience.
3.2. 3+ years experience in the following areas:
3.2.1. Relational Databases (Microsoft SQL, mySQL)
3.2.2. ASP
3.2.3. JavaScript
3.2.4. VBScript
3.2.5. CSS
3.2.6. XML
3.2.7. Microsoft IIS
3.2.8. Macromedia Actionscript
3.2.9. Visual Basic
3.2.10. ASP.NET
3.3. Experience in the following areas a plus:
3.3.1. Apache Web Server
3.3.2. PHP
3.3.3. Unix Shell Programming
3.3.4. C/C#/C++ Programming
