Job Description:
Responsibilities, Senior Project Managers are expected to lead and mentor project teams and other Project Mangers. Work with project teams, customers, other Project Managers, and management to prioritize requirements and develop and maintain multiple project plans using approved tools. Include project charter and scope, phases, tasks, assignments, dependencies, and target dates. Determine resource roles needed and work with management to secure project team members. Establish and coordinate the plan for migration of projects into production. Manage customer expectations and communicate with other groups as needed to insure successful implementation. 20-40% Ensure coordination of multiple project delivery dates against estimates to keep the projects on schedule and within budget and scope. Demonstrate an understanding of the departmental cost model and utilization principles; ensure that team members are allocating time appropriately to project activities and recording accurately in approved time-tracking tool. 20-40% Work with Business Analyst and/or other project managers to define and document communication plan and promote a positive working relationship with customers. Maintain open and constant communication among internal team, customers, and management regarding project status. Perform analyses for changes to scope and negotiate/recommend course of action or escalate as appropriate.
