Job Description:
Information Assurance Analyst/Engineer
*This position is in support of the US Department and Defense and requires that all candidate possess an active DoD Secret Clearance*
This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of information assurance professionals supporting the Army commands and installations. Candidates will contribute to the successful certification and accreditation of DoD information systems.
Day to day responsibilities include and candidate must demonstrate experience in:
- Evaluate and secure various operating systems.
- Performing Security Readiness Reviews
- Evaluate and secure various commercial and custom software applications.
- Write, contribute to and/or edit DIACAP C&A documents.
- Develop detailed, step-by-step procedures for testing security features of various operating systems and other software applications and networking components
Qualified candidates will need:
- Active DoD security clearance (Secret or higher) required.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3-5 years of related experience.

Travel Requirements
Up to 50% travel which is 4-6 weeks on the road and then 4 weeks at home, filing reports and preparing for the next trip.
Preference is to have local candidates in DC market however, flexible as long as within US…east coast and midwest preferred
Salary
$70,000/year for 3 years of relevant experience (Analyst Level)
$80-100,000/year for 4-5 years of relevant experience (Engineer Level)
