Job Description:
Responsibilities: Serves as the lead administrator responsible for the administration, planning, provision, and evaluation of student mental and behavioral health programs and services. The Director also provides direct clinical and consultation services as needed. The vision for the Counseling Center at Meharry is to support its' students in achieving their personal and educational goals by providing a broad range of counseling, testing/evaluation, consultation, and outreach services and programs to the student body. The staff will provide brief individual and couples therapy, intake assessment, risk assessment and crisis intervention, group therapy, consultation, outreach, and academic evaluations and guidance to the students.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology, Licensed in Tennessee or License eligible as a Psychologist. Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and direct the progress of the Center.
