Job Description:
Responsibilities: Company relationship/networking Provide in-depth Opportunity Landscape analysis:Identify new opportunities for subsequent evaluation and analysis by screening all available opportunities within targeted therapeutic are a / indicationAssess competitive landscapeAssess partnering activitiesEvaluate emerging trends in new mechanisms of actionHighlight major market trends Lead the planning and execution of Roche Pharm a Partnering events:Identify and screen potential opportunities/companiesOrganise and participate in meetings with target companiesAnalyse and summarise meeting outcome and follow-up next stepsMaintain relationship with target companies Project team member for opportunities which progress to full assessmentAssist in preparation of proposals to senior managementWork in close collaboration with Finder, Evaluator and other project team members Manage opportunity profile and status for opportunities utilising internal databases as required:Initiate opportunity profileMonitor and update opportunity profile Initiate assessment and re-assessment on the basis of the project progression in collaboration with the teamDevelop and agree screening criteri a with the FinderMake recommendations to decline, monitor or pursue opportunities to the Finder Internal and external networkingEstablish and maintain close collaboration and effective team working with Finders, Evaluators and other colleaguesEstablish and maintain relationships with Pharm a Research, Pharm a Development, Pharm a Business teams and key personnel in assigned disease biology areas.Attend therapeutic, partnering and investor conferences and network with biotechnology companies and associations, key opinion leaders, investors, venture funds, medical and scientific communities Who you are: You’re someone who wants to influence your own development. PhD or MD/PhD; PharmD may be acceptable. Minimum 10 years job-related experience/knowledge in specific disease are a (virology). years' research experience / knowledge / understanding of drug development process (Pharm a or biotech). Scientific know-how / cutting edge science knowledge in virology and preferably immunology.
