Job Description:
Linium is a premier New York executive search and recruiting firm. We are seeking a Full Time, Direct Hire, Project Manager. This role can be located in either the Schenectady or Rochester NY office.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing team with opportunities for professional and career/skills growth.
To qualify for this position, you must have:
o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
o 3-5 years experience in project management preferably within the health care/insurance industry
o Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on-time and on-budget
o 3+ years of experience with a structured SDLC required
o PMI certification desired
o Knowledge of Facets is a plus
o
Duties will include:
• Manages and assumes responsibility for project initiation, budget, planning, executing, controlling and closing.
• Reports progress of projects to management and business partners.
• Promotes initiatives for process improvement, innovative thinking and re-engineering.
• Serves as the project advocate; enlisting project teams help and support. Facilitates project planning.
• Determines measurement criteria for work accomplished using systematic processes such as schedule and cost variance.
• Defines and manages schedule, scope, or budget changes. Identifies, communicates and resolves problems as they arise.
• Manages plan deliverables including; scope statement, requirements, work breakdown structure, project schedule, budget plan, resource matrix, operational transfer plan and communications plan.
• Maintains project library and documentation.
