Reference # 5344 Descriptions: - The Civil/Mechanical Engineering Department seeks to recruit an industrious individual to join the Civil Engineering-Generation Stations section. - The ideal candidate must be well organized, detail oriented, able to render sound business decisions, and have the flexibility to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines. - This individual must have a high regard for personal accountability and understand the critical importance of commitment to excellence. Requirements: - The selected candidate must be able to promote a positive work ethic in support of the Company?s Corporate Values, possess a high energy level and have a demonstrated commitment to environmental excellence and safety in the workplace. - Must possess strong oral and written communication skills and have the demonstrated ability to effectively interact with various levels of management. - Requires strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with personnel on all levels. - Must be capable of supervising out-of-house consulting engineers. - Requires a Bachelor?s degree in Civil Engineering. - Requires knowledge in the design and analysis of concrete, steel and masonry structures. - Must have a working knowledge of applicable codes and standards such as Building Code, etc. - Must have a thorough understanding of the environmental issues that impact civil projects. - Knowledge of structural inspections and repairs, construction methods and cost estimating required. - Computer skills required to include proficiency in Microsoft OUTLOOK, WORD, EXCEL, and POWERPOINT. ENGINEER (2L): - Requires 3 years of civil engineering work experience as noted above.
