Reference - Individual plans, coordinates and manages the development of civil / structural engineering standards for design, procurement, and construction of transmission lines and substations - Individual performs research of industry practices; assist in evaluating past practices, coordinates engineering reviews, supports engineering meetings, monitors vendor performance- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or Engineering Technology is required with at least 8 yrs of experience for the senior position and 5 yrs experience for the engineer position - Engineering experience should be related to the design, construction, operation or maintenance aspects of the electric utility industry - A background in transmission line or substation systems and components is highly desired - Familiarity with applicable industry codes and standards, related to substations and transmission lines is preferred - Strong organizational skills, effective verbal communication, concise writing, and initiative are required.
