Requirements: We are seeking a dynamic, energetic candidate to lead the revenue, accounting, and contracting operations of the Finance Division. This includes managing resources for funding the Ports capital improvement program, estimated at $2.6 billion over the next five years. Youll also oversee $1 billion in outstanding debt and evaluate refunding opportunities and additional debt capacity. Position requires a Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related discipline, plus a minimum of five years of increasingly responsible experience in financial. A Masters Degree in Business Administration or related field and/or a CPA/CMA certification is highly desirable. ABOUT THE PORT OF LONG BEACH FINANCE DIVISION As an enterprise fund, the Ports finances are managed separately from the City of Long Beach The Port publishes stand-alone financial statements and has its own debt rating.
