Job Description:
The Finance Manager of Mergers and Acquisition will provide valuation and support capabilities. Primary responsibilities would be to prepare and maintain valuation model for acquisitions and divestitures, develop necessary valuation aids / guidelines to be utilized by Inc. and Operating Groups. Preparation of Stage Papers, participate in due diligence effort and preparation of financial deliverables at various stages of the M&A process.In compliance with current Finance organization mandates, this position will be rotational. It is the expectation that the candidate that fills this position will rotate to an Operating Group within a 2 ? 3 year window. Position is located in Rockville, Maryland. He or She will: - Prepare and review valuations on a variety of M&A targets (both acquisitions and divestitures) - Prepare and review Stage Papers, process deliverable and purchase sale agreements. - Recommend and facilitate valuation process improvements including valuation model enhancements. Ensure that adequate tools are available, current and provided to analysts. Prepare valuation training materials and provide training to Inc. and OG M&A analysts. - Liaise with external consultants such as Public Accounting -Transaction Services personnel and investment bankers as necessary. - Liaise with Inc. and OG personnel on valuation, diligence and other M&A related matters - Participate on due diligence effort where and as necessary.
