Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage, grow and retain a portfolio of Wealth client relationships with a focus on new client acquisition. This is accomplished through a comprehensive understanding of the clients financial objectives by delivering holistic solutions through team specialists around each client in order to offer the most appropriate solutions and alternatives to meet the clients objectives and needs. Build and maintain a portfolio of clients by helping clients define their financial goals and objectives, analyzing clients current financial resources and financial positions, identifying appropriate Wachovia products and services to help client attain their objectives, ensuring clients are introduced to appropriate Wachovia specialists, inside Wealth and outside Wealth, and effectively closing sales for appropriate Wachovia products and services. Maintain current licenses by completing appropriate continuing educational requirements. Required 5 or more years experience in the financial industry dealing with high net worth clients and be a proven performer with strong sales skills. Strong local market knowledge and exposure preferred. Self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and willingness to develop high profile in local market. College degree required. Computer proficiency required. Preferred CFP or CFA designation or an advanced degree and if not, must be willing to obtain CFP in first 2 years of employment. Strong commercial credit background preferred.
