Description: FINANCE ORGANIZATION: with teams in each Region, the Finance organization includes financial operations, revenue cycle, treasury, controller, financial planning and strategic planning. Working closely with senior leaders throughout the organization, Finance teams play pivotal roles in shaping and making key decisions that support Firm's mission of providing the highest quality care at an affordable cost. POSITION SUMMARY: The Vice President of Strategic Planning plays a critical program-wide leadership role in the development, alignment and execution of the organization's strategic plan. Reporting to the CFO, the incumbent will partner with the CEO, the National Leadership Team and the Regional Presidents to develop and monitor comprehensive business plans that include focus areas in Quality, Service, Finance, Capital and People. MULTI-YEAR STRATEGIC PLAN: 1) Lead the multi-year strategic planning process in partnership with each Region and national function. 2) Translate critical and complex strategies into an effective plan and support the organization in the execution of the plan and key initiatives. 3) Integrate KP's strategies and plans with our mission and communicate in a way that maximizes engagement and plan execution. 4) Serve as a key leader in, and coordinate effectively with various planning processes (including rate-setting, capital planning, facilities planning, IT, forecasting, and budgeting), in order to align the overarching capital strategy, care delivery strategy, growth strategy and product strategy. 5) Partner with the CFO and Communications to effectively deploy key messages and documents on strategic planning processes and practices to create alignment across the strategic planning activities for the organization. 6) Ensure timely reporting to the CEO, CFO, KPPG, National Leadership Team (NLT) and Board of Directors on KP's business strategy
