We support compensation programs for over 16,000 people in virtually every subsidiary around the world. The Incentive Compensation Operations organization focuses on the implementation and execution of payments, and support and training for participants in Microsoft’s incentive programs. This position is the Sr Leader of the Incentive Compensation Operations organization and is ultimately accountable for the plan implementation, payments to over 16,000 Microsoft employees and general support of all plan participants. Responsibilities: Global Process and Partnership - Develop, communicate and gain agreement on global incentives processes with all related communities. This includes the quota setting (including the four main pillars of quota setting), payout, revenue adjustment and quota adjustment processes. This requires at least some understanding of upstream processes and our partners' roles and responsibilities. - Management accountability between Field Sales, Finance, HR and IC Operations with clearly defined roles and responsibilities within each of the incentive processes is critical to the program's success. - Ensure all IC Operations teams fully understand their role in the global processes. Operational Support - Direct organization that supports the execution of payments and daily escalation of issues related to the administration of the incentive plans. - Ensure payments are accurate and timely. - Ensure consistent application of policy worldwide and timely resolution to all escalations, with a focus on continual improvement
