Job Description:
The mission of the Revenue is to provide Global oversight and guidance on the controls and processes to enhance and standardize revenue recognition accounting procedures. The individual will report to the Director of Corporate Reporting and will team lead senior accounting staff. Responsibilities include providing corporate guidance on Dell accounting policies, providing guidance on Firm application to accounting practices, building a strong working relationship with respective segment and/or regions, researching the impact of new accounting pronouncements, and coordinating ad-hoc projects with operational customers. The position may have some adhoc duties related to the WW close process. The selected candidate will also interface and support, on a basis, VPs, GMs, Finance Directors and Accounting Managers in their respective functional areas. Job : Finance - Financial Analyst Manager Qualifications : Prefer a Bachelors' degree in Finance or Accounting (or Masters in related field) with years of experience or equivalent training and experience. CPA is preferred, but not required. Current Firm and SEC filing experience is preferred. The successful candidate should demonstrate the following software skills: advanced Excel (data queries, pivot tables, V-Lookup, etc.) and PowerPoint. Experience with Hyperion and Firm are a plus. Also, the candidate should have a moderate to advanced ability to deal with ambiguity, be able to properly set competing priorities and demonstrate a strong aptitude for technical accounting research. Additionally, the individual must excel in dealing with senior management and have strong leadership skills. Primary Location : North America-US-TX-Round Rock Schedule : Full-time Shift : Day Job
