Parts Manager (DPM) is responsible for the effective operations of all Parts Department activities within the dealership. He/she is accountable for the financial performance, coordinated marketing, customer relations, staffing, and overall coordination of the Parts Department. The Parts Manager will collect and analyze data providing feedback and recommendations for improvement. The Parts Manager must be an investment advisor and profit producer. Strong communication is required between the Parts Manager, Technicians, Service Advisors, Cashiers and Vehicle Coordinators. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: o Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis of performance within the Parts operations o Develop and follow-up on individual business unit action plans to achieve the desired outcome o Champion National and District initiatives within the store (Assessment, Training, Certification, Parts days supply, Asset Management o Provide feedback to the General Manager, and the District staff based on the contacts o Involvement in collective marketing efforts
