Responsibilities: - Use Lean Six Sigma and High Velocity Manufacturing methodologies to identify opportunities and drive improvement across the organization. - Ensure the use of solid, data-driven methodologies (such as FMEA, Risk Analysis, DOE, etc.) to design robust processes and to troubleshoot quality issues. - Identify Sector-wide strategic needs and lead teams to implement change within the Sector and across Business Units. - Assist Residential and Commercial Marketing organizations in the identification and development of new and improved finishes. From Marketing concepts, identify technologies and methods to meet cost and manufacturing targets. - Assist Supplier Development and Quality organizations in identifying and resolving issues related to internal or external finishing operations. Identify strategic and systemic issues and develop plans for improvement. - Assist individual Business Units with capital projects related to finishing processes, ensuring the implementation of good project management skills and sound engineering principles. Requirements: - A Bachelor's of Science in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical preferred). - Training in Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles. - 3 years of experience in finishing shop environment, preferably with multiple technologies. - Willingness to travel.
