Job Description:
Responsibilities: Provide case management and vocational counseling for walk in population with a special emphasis on out-of-school youth Assist clients in removing barriers to employment, which includes referring to providers of rental assistance, clothing, legal counseling, etc. Prepare and monitor service plans for clients Ensure compliance with all WDC contractual obligations, which includes identifying & matching clients to appropriate services, tracking attendance, auditing folders, and monitoring and reporting on outcomes. Identify appropriate education and/or training opportunities for clients and facilitating referrals. Manage multiple database and data collection tools. Identify need for and facilitate both individual and group activities, tutoring, and/or job search sessions as needed Assist with developing strategic outreach efforts. Provide ongoing follow up through phone calls, letters, emails, special activities or events and individual case management meetings Additional Qualifications: Qualifications: Experience or willingness to work with challenging populations Excellent verbal and written communication skills Outstanding organizational and administrative skills.
