Job Description:
Mechanical Designer needed for a manufacturing facility in the oil and gas industry.
Must be proficient with SolidWorks 2008 3D CAD System.
Experienced with precision machined components, machine detail drawings and assembly drawings using reference designs, customer requirements, and minimal direction from the Project Engineer.
Must have excellent written and verbal skills.
Must be proficient in the application of ASME Y14 standards for manufacturing drawings.
Experience with deepwater riser systems.
Experience with welded structure design.
First hand experience with machining, welding and other manufacturing methods preferred.
Must have Associates Degreee in CAD from an accredited Junior College or Trade School. Advanced education preferred.
