Job Description:
The Training Specialist (Advanced Special Operations) serves as the Preparation of the Environment Administrator for the purpose of providing experience, continuity, oversight, and administration in the execution of Naval Special Warfare Advanced Special Operations (ASO) Level 1, Operational Preparation of the Environmentel II, and the Tactical Surveillance Operations courses of instruction. The incumbent acts as the program advisor to the Commanding Officer and as the direct assistant to the Division Officer. As the PE Administrator, the incumbent will serve as the technical advisor and course facilitator for all training. Incumbent will also: assist with course execution, course management, curriculum development and appraisals, record-keeping, and implementation of program directives; review course requirements, coordinate logistics, develop and maintain training schedules, establish training areas, assists with supporting elements, and promulgate written reports as required to document training; and provide oversight of training exercises and conceptual scenarios. The incumbent provides feedback and makes recommendations to course managers
