This candidate will help train and develop the growth for LTL services provided by Bear. The ideal candidate must have five to seven years in transportation brokerage and LTL Freight. Responsibilities include:Train and mentor Division Managers, Brokers and Broker Trainees on LTL implementationAssist with the selection and implementation of LTL softwareDevelop and implement LTL strategiesMonitors carrier performance Assist claims process to ensure appropriate reimbursement for shortages and damagesMonitor growth and progress, make recommendations and changes accordingly Develops and maintains relationships with customer and carriersJob Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in a business discipline (preferred but not required)5-10 years experience in Transportation and Logistics (brokering), including at least 3-5 years with LTL expertise1-3 years of training experienceStrong negotiation skills and experience negotiating freight contractsExcellent analytical & problem solving skills.
