Job Description:
Develop and implement recruiting plans and initiatives that ensure an adequate and appropriate supply of competent employees who can meet production requirements for Firm and Kansas City manufacturing departments, base stores and other Envision employment opportunities. Review the entire employment process from pre-hire to post hire and make recommendations that expedite the process while ensuring a thorough, legal review of the applicant's suitability for employment is conducted to assist in successful placement for applicant and Envision. Review current referral incentives and relocation assistance provided and recommend appropriate changes or additions. Oversee and improve recruiting communications with external organizations. Oversee the expansion / maintenance of comprehensive data base of recruitment resources. Provide management with accurate and timely reports on recruiting activities and results that assist in support of fulfilling the Envision mission and the upward mobility of blind and low vision employees. Conduct inter-company meetings as necessary on recruitment activities and initiatives that keep appropriate Envision staff up to date and to solicit feedback and input. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all potential recruiting resources in order to identify and coordinate job placement of people who are blind or have low vision. Must be able to work with management to assist in determining employee needs and provide suitable candidates as requested
