The incumbent functions as a Supervisor Human Resources Specialist at the James A. Haley VA, with specific responsibility in the area of Recruitment and Placement for encompassing Title 5, Hybrid Title 38, and Title 38 employees. The incumbent will supervise approximately 18 personnel assigned to Recruitment and Placement. The James a Haley VA Hospital is one of the busiest and most complex in the nation with over 4700 employees, with numerous outpatient clinics dispersed over a large geographic region. The facility is a complexity level -A facility and ranks among the largest medical enters in the Department of Veterans Affairs. For a highly qualified candidate a Recruitment Incentive, Relocation Incentive and Relocation Expenses may be authorized. The Guaranteed Home Buy Option may be authorized.Major Duties:The incumbent will supervises a section of employees performing Recruitment and Placement related work comprised of approximately 18 personnel. Provides all administrative guidance and technical direction for accomplishing the work of the section. Ensures all the work assignments of employees in the section are carried out.
