Job Description:
Nuclear Pharmacy Manager responsibilities: Supervise compounding, manufacturing, and dispensing of radiopharmaceuticals in conformance with Radiological health and Pharmacy regulations.Control purchasing and pharmacy accounting procedures.Train, develop, and counsel pharmacy employees.Ensure vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and/or calibrated.Prepare pharmacy budgets and control operations to maintain budgetary commitments.Maintain all licenses and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.Interact with Sales and Marketing concerning new accounts and account maintenance.Administer policies and procedures.Participate with management in short and long range planning of nuclear pharmacy operations.Participate in on call rotational duties.Pharmacist Requirements B.S. in Pharmacy, M.B.A. and/or M.S. in Nuclear Pharmacy desirable.Good organization skills and capability of learning fiscal management and personnel management.Willingness to be on call for emergencies.Good customer rapport.Business and sales experience preferred.Must maintain current in the field of Nuclear Pharmacy.Must learn regulations and procedures concerning: a) radiological health, b) Department of Transportation, c) radiopharmaceutical products, d) radiopharmaceutical compounding and dispensing, e) basic computer applications, f) health physics.Nuclear Pharmacy specialty certification.
