Job Description:
Responsibilities: Provide individual and group counseling/therapy for a variety of mental health issues. Provide leadership and training for the SMART team; coordinate the campus response to traumatic stress events on campus. Oversee counseling responsibilities within the set-up, protocol development and function of the cross-departmental Threat Assessment Team for at-risk students. Work as a liaison with other departments such as Substance Abuse and Education, Health Services, Dean of Students, Residence Life, Public Safety and Judicial Affairs to facilitate referrals and coordination of services to students. Plan and implement training programs and other outside professional development opportunities for staff and interns. Oversee educational workshops and outreach programming for university staff and students throughout the year. Consult with faculty and staff regarding student problems, training, programs, policy development and organizational issues.
