Oversight of the successful clinical operations of contracted projects within the assigned portion of the Center of Excellence. Line management responsibility for the recruitment, training, utilization, quality control, development and performance review of assigned personnel. Financial authority in accordance with company approval matrix. In cooperation with sales and proposal groups, help in costings and bid defenses, as required. Job Requirements: Typically required : University/college degree (life science preferred) or certification in a related allied health profession from an appropriately accredited institution (e.g. nursing certification, medical or laboratory technology) Preferred: Masters or other advanced degree Typically required : Minimum of seven (7) years relevant clinical research experience in a pharmaceutical company/CRO In lieu of the above requirement, candidates with more than 5 years supervisory experience in a health care setting and four (4) years clinical research experience will be consideredDemonstrated ability to lead by example and to encourage team members to seek solutions Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities.
