Job Description:
Ensures that required Project Plans (e.g., communication plan, safety plan, etc.) are written and followed. Ensures that all allocated projects are carried out in strict accordance with the relevant protocols, SOPs, and specified GCP and ICH standards. Communicates on a regular basis with assigned clients regarding questions, concerns, and project status. Facilitates kick-off meetings with sponsors. Leads internal coordination meetings with assigned personnel (e.g., project coordinators, clinical research associates (CRAs), etc.). Ensures the relevant personnel are kept informed of issues, which may affect the project performance. Ensures Project Updates and other required documentation are maintained and available for review. Participates in identification and qualification of investigative sites. Conducts site qualification visits, if necessary. Approves monitoring guidelines; organizes and conducts protocol-specific CRA training. May accompany monitors on site visits, as needed. Reviews and approves monitoring reports. Plans, conducts and presents at investigator meetings, if necessary. Participates in identification and management of required study supply vendors (e.g., central laboratory, central ECG reading service, analytical laboratory, etc.). Coordinates site/subject numbering, generation of randomization scheme and development of IVRS, as applicable
