Job Description:
The Medical Affairs group is responsible for Phase IV and Investigator Initiated Clinical Research, product information, scientific publications and customer service. This position is responsible for working closely with the Clinical Research, Regulatory Affairs, and Marketing and Sales Groups within Centocor and J&J, and with partner companies in the region. This highly visible position involves being based in the field at the individual's home and requires 50% travel as well as visits to the home office on approximately a monthly basis and visits to the headquarters on a quarterly basis. Responsibilities include full integration with the home office-based Medical Affairs Medical Group and to coordinate efforts within Medical Affairs to address medical and scientific issues and to insure the appropriate use of all Centocor marketed products for immunologic disease. Provide clinical analysis and promulgate scientific and clinical support for Centocor products for immunologic disease. Support the immunology business in the development of promotional materials and the training of product representatives. Develop collaboration with external investigators and opinion leaders. Perform medical monitoring of ongoing Centocor phase IV and registry programs
