Responsibilities: - Lead and manage team of marketing research analysts or managers. - Conduct promotion research/analysis to determine optimal promotional mix. - Manage tracking of performance of products and markets productivity. - Detecting emerging healthcare/ pharmaceutical industry trends. - Manage research/analyses to support optimization of product positioning, promotion and customer segmentation strategies. - Select and manage suppliers on design and implementation of projects. - Manage multiple Marketing Research projects and prioritize according to research needs. - Prepare and present findings and recommendations to product management/senior management. - Provide direction and recommended actions on strategic and tactical plans. - Manage the forecasting models for products and markets. - Develop and manage Marketing Research plan and budget. - Participate in training and development of staff. - Recruit and retain staff. Requirements: - An MBA/advanced degree is preferred. - 6-8 years of Marketing Research experience in pharmaceutical industry or other relevant experience. - Experience with complex research/analytical techniques. - Proven expertise in Secondary Market Research, Primary Market Research, Competitive Intelligence. - Previous work experience in the same disease state preferred. - Solid background of a variety of forms of research/analysis and comprehensive knowledge of relevant data sources.
