Job Description:
This position requires strong leadership experience in managing the multiple processes involved in clinical trial management. The ability to coordinate various key members internally and externally to meet the clinical trial objectives and provide contributions to the strategic execution of the clinical trial is essential. Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, writing, project planning, and negotiation and presentation skills as well as an ability to contribute creative, practical solutions to problems is required. Responsibilities Development of clinical protocols, informed consent documents and review of case report forms; (CRFs), CRF guidelines and data edit check specifications. Responsible for the development and implementation of study-specific monitoring plan, study tools including communication plan, study budget, study timelines and study tracking systems. Ensure studies are conducted per guidelines. Develop and review outsourcing specification for RFP's for clinical research contractors Responsible for site, vendor management and for clinical documentation such as: Oversees day-to-day activities of the clinical trial and associated resources: CRO's, central labs and other clinical research contractors Communicating regularly with vendors to ensure timely start up/completion of clinical studies and deliverables (monitoring plan, data management plans, etc) in a timely fashion Conducting on-site monitoring including initiation visits, routine co-monitoring visits and close out visits; site management responsibilities as needed
